Dani Moreno is a standout American ultrarunner known for her exceptional performances in trail races. Based in Mammoth Lakes, California, she specializes in shorter mountain ultramarathons, excelling on runnable terrain and in high-altitude environments. Dani has secured numerous podium finishes, including third place at both UTMB Mont Blanc/OCC and Mont Blanc Marathon in 2022. In 2023, she claimed first at the Eiger by UTMB 35K with a new course record, set a new course record with her win at the Kodiak by UTMB 53K, and finished second at the Mammoth Trail Fest 26K the last stage of the 2023 Golden Trail World Series. Most recently, in 2024, Dani took first at Canyons by UTMB 50K.
Notably, she was the first American athlete to podium at the UTMB Mont Blanc/OCC (3rd) in 2022 and placed fifth overall in the Golden Trail World Series in 2021. She also boasts a half marathon PR of 1:10:46 (Ventura, CA, 2024).
